Sean Glasheen, Executive Director

Sean Glasheen is the Executive Director of Nuvista. Sean Glasheen moved to Bethel with his family when he was 2 years old and lived there his entire life until attending college in Anchorage. His parents are Anne Glasheen, a Nurse Practitioner at YKHC, and the late Brian Glasheen. After graduating from BRHS in 2007, Mr. Glasheen attended the University of Alaska Anchorage where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2011 and was part of the Alaska Native Science & Engineering Program (ANSEP). Since then, Mr. Glasheen has worked as an engineer on the North Slope first for BP Alaska and now for HillCorp Alaska, commuting to and from the Slope from Bethel for the last several years.

Bertha Prince, Energy Program Manager

Bertha Prince is the Energy Program Manager for Nuvista, a role she has been in since 2018. Bertha was born in Bethel, and grew up in Saint Mary’s, Alaska on the Yukon River and is a member of the Algaaciq Tribe. Bertha obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Rural Development from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In her free time, Bertha enjoys photography, berry picking, fishing, spending time with family, and traveling.
